What Q-VIP does

Queues at busy food stalls, school tuck shops, sports event vendors, and market stands waste time for customers and revenue for vendors. Cash and card-machine handling slows everything down at exactly the moments throughput matters most.

Q-VIP closes that gap. Customers scan a QR code or pick the vendor from a list, browse the live menu, pay in advance, and walk up when their order is buzzed Ready. Vendors run a real-time order queue on their device — no extra hardware, no card reader, no fumbling.

The platform is built for South African SMME vendors operating in high-traffic recurring venues: schools, sports clubs, markets, university residences. Q-VIP is not a food delivery service and not a restaurant marketplace. It is a self-order layer that sits on top of a vendor’s existing operation.

What makes Q-VIP different: the vendor controls menu, availability, hours, and pace live; customers pay through verified South African payment rails; and the platform is free for vendors. The only fee is a small per-order convenience charge paid by the customer on top of the vendor’s menu price.

For vendors

Onboard once: invite, verify, configure your menu, go live. Most vendors complete onboarding in under 30 minutes.

You set hours and availability live. You choose whether to take advance orders or only orders during open hours. Every order lands on your device in real time. You mark orders Ready and the customer is notified. The platform is free for vendors — you receive 100% of your menu price on every order. No platform fee, no subscription, no setup fee. The per-order convenience fee is paid by the customer on top of the menu price, not deducted from your payout.

For customers

Open the Q-VIP app, find vendors near a venue (or scan a QR poster at the vendor stand), browse the live menu with current availability, order, pay, and walk up when ready. No more standing in line.

Payment is processed through Peach Payments — a leading South African payment provider — with support for major cards, Instant EFT, and supported mobile wallets. On every order, Q-VIP adds a small convenience fee on top of the vendor’s menu price: R2 for orders under R100, R3 for orders R100 and above (excluding VAT at the prevailing rate, currently 15%). The fee covers Q-VIP’s platform operation (payment processing, real-time order delivery, customer support); vendors receive 100% of the menu price.

Q-VIP follows the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). We collect the minimum information needed to process your order, we do not sell your data, and we do not share your contact information with vendors beyond what the vendor needs to deliver your order. Q-VIP is the customer-facing brand for QUICK QUE (Pty) Ltd. The Q-VIP wordmark plays on queue + VIP — the company name QUICK QUE is intentionally spelled without the standard ue as a brand mark. The same legal entity ships the product and owns this website (qvip.co.za).
