Terms of service

By using Q-VIP (operated by QUICK QUE (Pty) Ltd), you agree to the following terms.

For customers

You agree to provide accurate contact information, to pay for orders you place, and not to use the service for any unlawful purpose. We agree to deliver the service as described, to refund cancelled or undelivered orders per the cancellation policy, and to protect your data per the privacy policy.

For vendors

You agree to fulfil orders placed through Q-VIP, to keep your menu and availability accurate, to honour pricing displayed at order time, and to comply with applicable South African food-safety and consumer-protection laws. We agree to deliver order traffic, process payments, and pay out 100% of your menu price on the agreed schedule. The platform is free for vendors — Q-VIP does not deduct a platform fee from vendor payouts.

Customer convenience fee

Q-VIP charges customers a small per-order convenience fee, added on top of the vendor’s menu price at checkout: R2 for orders under R100, R3 for orders R100 and above. These amounts are excluding VAT at the prevailing South African rate (currently 15%); VAT is added at checkout and itemised on the customer receipt. The fee covers Q-VIP’s platform operation (payment processing, real-time order delivery, customer support). No subscription. No setup fee. No hidden charges. Vendors receive 100% of their menu price; the convenience fee is not deducted from the vendor payout. Payment processing fees charged by the underlying payment provider are passed through to the customer at cost and disclosed before each transaction.

Liability

We provide the platform “as is.” We are not responsible for vendor service quality, food safety, or order fulfilment beyond connecting the customer’s payment to the vendor’s order queue. Vendors are responsible for their own food preparation, hygiene, and customer service. Customers acknowledge that food preparation and pickup timing remain the responsibility of the vendor.
